What will you be doing? Some of the key responsibilities of this position include:
• Responsible for the oversight of the estimating process and accuracy of estimates for all bid and negotiated projects awarded to Hyder
• Establish and maintain standardized procedures, methods, and processes for estimating and training estimating personnel
• Responsible for developing bid strategies for both negotiated and competitively bid projects coordinated with the targeted market segments reflected in Hyder Construction’s marketing plan
• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, develop, coach, discipline, and maintain the appropriate estimating staff reflective of the Hyder’s anticipated short-term needs and long-term goals
• Ensure that subcontractor relations are effectively cultivated
• Ensure Hyder’s execution of ethical bid practices and support Hyder’s core values
